The story behind Aegistack
Over 10 years in software QA, I've worked across every layer of the testing stack — manual and exploratory testing, test automation with Selenium and Playwright, API and performance testing, CI/CD pipeline integration, and most recently, AI-assisted QA workflows. I've been a QA engineer, a test lead, an automation architect, and a delivery manager. That range matters — it means I've felt every bottleneck firsthand.
Every project had the same broken pattern: requirements in one tool, test cases in spreadsheets, automation in a repo nobody maintained, results in a Confluence page already out of date. The overhead was killing teams faster than the bugs were.
When AI became genuinely capable in 2023, I didn't see another chatbot — I saw the missing layer that could finally connect all those fragments. I built Aegistack with the team I'd worked alongside for 5 years. We're shipping it because it's the tool we would have paid for years ago.
